Ashley Apanavicius, a music educator with a rich multicultural background, is dedicated to
creating inclusive and inspiring learning environments. Her experiences, from chamber music to rock orchestra camps, have cultivated a passion for diverse musical expressions. At Ithaca College, she championed unique performance opportunities, showcasing global composers and fostering community through music. Her hands-on experience includes leading string students and orchestras at Boynton Middle School, preparing them for successful performances and auditions. Ashley is eager to bring her passion and experience to the Pittsburgh Performance Society, where she aims to inspire students and cultivate a lifelong love for music within a supportive atmosphere.

Harper Reese is a lifelong multi-instrumentalist with a current focus on guitar and bass. Having played in numerous bands and ensembles in Pittsburgh and Ohio, Harper has expertise in rock, jazz, country, bluegrass, and classical. Whether it’s finding new ways to break down music theory, developing technique, honing a creative voice, or just having fun, Harper’s goal is to help students embark on their own personal journey into the wonderful world of music!
